The names of all six candidates for HRT's new CEO have been released!

The Supervisory Board of Croatia's Radiotelevision (HRT) confirmed that six candidates who applied for the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of HRT through a public competition were timely and properly submitted. The board convened today to announce which candidates meet the requirements. Current CEO Robert Šveb's five-year term expires in October. The full announcement states that on September 7, 2026, the Supervisory Board opened the applications for the public competition and verified their timeliness and proper submission. After reviewing the applications and accompanying documentation, the board determined that the following candidates' applications are valid: Zlatan Avar, Gordana Grandov, Dražen Miočić, Fran Juraj Prižmić, Mario Raguž, and Tomislav Štengl. The board will forward these valid applications, along with the associated documents and their opinions, to the Committee for Information, Informatization, and Media of the Croatian Parliament for further proceedings, in accordance with the Law on the Croatian Radiotelevision.
