New facade demolition in Sarajevo: Damaged catering facility, police conducting inspection
Police officers conducted an inspection at a restaurant building in Sarajevo after a facade collapse caused damage. There were no reports of injuries, though a woman with a child was present in the garden at the time of the incident. The collapse is not uncommon in Sarajevo, and residents have repeatedly requested action on the facade issue without success. General Manager Almira Hadžiosmanović of Complex Company stated that the problem has persisted for years, with attempts to resolve it over the past three months without results. She noted that while workers had announced their arrival to address part of the facade, no one showed up.
