Slovenska gastronomija opet zaseda vrh svetovnega kulinaričnega spektra, kot je potrdilo objavo Michelin Guide Slovenia 2026. V tem letu je bil podeljenih 74 Michelinovih zvezdic, kar predstavlja dve več kot letos prejšnje. To je še vedno največji številčni rezultat med vsemi leti, vključevali vse od leta 2020, ko je Slovenija prvič zaslužila svojo prvo izdajo vodnika. V zadnjem letu je bilo 72 restavracij, kar je pomenilo, da je ta številka naravnost porastla.
Med najpomembnejšimi priznanji je bilo najvišje priznanje, tri zvezdice, ki jih je ohranila Ana Roš z Hišo Franko. To je drugič v zgodovini, ko je restavracija zanj prejela to maksimalno oceno. Ana Roš, ena najbolj prestižnih kuharic v Evropi, je z njeno kuhinjo vse še vedno v elitnem vrhu svetovne gastronomije. Ponovno je prejela dve zvezdici restavracija Milka z Davidom Žefranom, ki je v zadnjih letih stalno v vrhu. Vendar pa je bilo tudi veliko novih imen, ki so se pridružile tej elitni skupini. Osem restavracij je prejelo po eni zvezdici, med njimi je bila tudi novinka, Galerija okusov, ki jo ustvarja Marko Magajne. Ta restavracija je zlasti zanimala z njim, ker je prejela tudi Young Chef Award, kar je pomenilo, da je mladi kuharski talent, ki že danes oblikuje prihodnost slovenske kulinarike.
Poseben priznanje je bilo tudi za odprtje leta, kar je prvič podeljeno v Sloveniji. To priznanje je pripadel Gostilni Francl v Celju, ki jo vodi Sebastijan Kovačič. Njegova restavracija je zaslužila priznanje zaradi prepoznavnosti, kakovosti in zgodovinskega vpliva na lokalno kulturno identiteto. Poleg tega so bili podeljena tudi Sommelier Award in Service Award, ki sta pripadla Nejc Farčniku in Petru Patajcu, respektivno. To priznanje je pomenilo, da so te restavracije ne samo kakovostne, ampak tudi dostopne, kar je pomembno za širše publiko.
Vse skupaj je bilo vodniku Michelin Guide Slovenia 2026 uvrščenih 74 restavracij, od katerih so bile 52 izbrane. Od tega so bile šest novih, vključevali restavracije Bistro 9:45, Bistro Štorja, Gostilnica Barba, Hiša Polonka, Restavracija Mangrt in Srebrna vilica. Te restavracije so bile izbrane zaradi svojega doprinosa k kakovosti in kreativnosti v slovenski gastronomiji.
Minister za gospodarstvo, delo in šport Anže Logar je poudaril, da je Slovenija danes prepoznavna in uveljavljena gastronska destinacija, zaslužena zaslugi vrhunskih in kreativnih chefov ter njihovih ugranih profesionalnih ekip. Turizem in gastronomija sta po njegovih besedah pomembna stebra slovenskega gospodarstva, zato si prizadevajo za dvig kakovosti storitev, večjo produktivnost in višjo dodano vrednost, kar je ključnega pomena za mednarodno konkurenčnost.
Direktorica Slovenske turistične organizacije Maja Pak Olaj je poudarila, da letošnji rezultati znova potrjujejo, da Slovenija utrjuje položaj ene najbolj prepoznavnih gastronomskih destinacij Evrope. Uvrstitev 74 restavracij iz različnih delov države kaže, da vrhunska gastronomija postaja vse pomembnejši del kakovostne turistične ponudbe Slovenije in eden ključnih vzvodov za razvoj turizma z višjo dodano vrednostjo. Sodelovanje z Michelinom prispeva k mednarodni prepoznavnosti Slovenije, dvigu kakovosti ponudbe ter krepitvi ugleda slovenskih chefov in restavracij. Posebej nas veseli, da je bilo v Sloveniji letos prvič podeljeno priznanje Opening of the Year Award, ob njem pa ponovno tudi priznanja Young Chef Award, Sommelier Award in Service Award, ki izpostavljajo odličnost na različnih področjih gastronomije.
Slovenija se tako ponovno uvršča ob bok gastronomskim velesilam, kjer Michelinova priznanja krepijo mednarodni ugled Slovenije kot vrhunske gastronomske destinacije, spodbujajo dvig kakovosti v panogi ter prispevajo k razvoju trajnostnega turizma in višje dodane vrednosti. Vse skupaj pomeni, da je Slovenija v kulinaričnem svetu še vedno ena najpomembnejših destinacij, kjer se zaslužujejo ne samo zvezdice, ampak tudi mednarodno priznanje in zgodovinske vrednote.
