In a time when we hope sports on the world stage can unite people, a similar but smaller yet equally important story comes from Prozor-Rama. Young people from the diaspora, supported by an international grant, have launched a project using sports to bring together children and youth of different identities, creating space for socialization, collaboration, and community building. The highlight of the project will be the first official race in the history of Prozor-Rama, scheduled for July 10th. As we follow the World Cup and cheer, the question arises—can sports at a local level also have the power to connect people? Our guest was Alem Hadžić, a member of the Bosnian diaspora and initiator of the 'Connecting Youth Through Sports in Prozor-Rama' project.
