"This scene is always in front of my eyes, I'm taking medication"

A man named Mladen Dulić from Laktasi committed suicide in October 2022 after being mocked on video while trying to apply for a job at a gas station. The video, recorded by employee Veljko Trišić, showed Mladen, who has intellectual disabilities, being teased during the application process. The video was shared among coworkers and later posted online, leading to significant emotional distress for Mladen. His father, Dragan Dulić, filed a lawsuit against Trišić, seeking the harshest possible punishment for the alleged mistreatment of his son. During the trial, Dragan described the traumatic impact of the incident, stating that the image of his son’s humiliation remains vivid in his mind. Mladen’s friend and housekeeper, Slavica Ninić, described him as kind and respectful, noting that he had been emotionally affected by the video but did not show signs of self-harm before his death.
