Marinakis: We will not go back to fake money, honesty Tsipras is the shortest political joke

The Greek government spokesperson, Pavlos Marinakis, responded sharply to criticism from former Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras regarding the government's economic policies and performance report. Marinakis accused Tsipras of making false claims, stating that nearly every part of Tsipras' statement contained 'big lies.' He emphasized that Greece is currently experiencing double the growth rates compared to the SYRIZA administration period and highlighted that over 600,000 citizens have found employment. Marinakis defended the government's fiscal policy, claiming that no taxes had been increased and that 83 direct taxes had been abolished. He criticized Tsipras for leaving the country in a difficult position and argued that the current government's approach focuses on reducing taxes while increasing tax revenues to support the middle class and small businesses.
