The fire posed no further threat to nearby homes, which were located just hundreds of meters away from the fire line. It is estimated that the fire affected between 10 and 15 hectares of grassland and low vegetation. The fire was caused by lightning during dry weather. During the intervention, a 110 kV power line was temporarily disconnected but has since been restored to normal operation. Firefighters from the Public Fire Departments in Pazin, Labin, and Poreč, along with members of the DVD Lupoglav, participated in extinguishing the blaze.
