Another punishment for Grzegorz Braun.

Grzegorz Braun, a Polish non-aligned Member of the European Parliament, has been reprimanded by the European Parliament for making offensive remarks during a session of the Security and Defence Committee (SEDE). During the meeting on March 18, Braun criticized EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, calling her position 'useless' and accusing Jews, Israel, and the Jewish diaspora of being aggressors in the Middle East conflict. He further described Kallas as merely a 'cork at the end of the barrel of a gun.' As a result, Braun was stripped of his rights to participate in SEDE meetings and activities for 20 days and lost two days of his daily allowance. This is the second time Braun has faced disciplinary action from the Parliament, having previously been penalized for comments targeting LGBTQI individuals and for disrupting a moment of silence commemorating Holocaust victims. The President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, condemned Braun’s behavior, stating it violated the dignity and reputation of the institution.
