The most recent announcement includes a gathering of citrars and harmonika players set for Sunday, August 23rd, starting at 2 pm near the mountain hut at Ermanovcu. Earlier in the week, on Friday, August 21st, a craft-based activity titled “Zabava z Zvito feltno” invites attendees to participate in a workshop led by Zvita feltno. On Tuesday, August 18th, two organized excursions were announced. The first, a cycling tour organized by the Kranj Retired Workers' Association, will take place along the route from Kranj to Vodice, Zbilje, and back to Kranj, covering approximately 42 kilometers. The start time is set for 8 am, beginning from the city's water tower. Another excursion, a hike led by the Cerklje Retired Workers' Association, will head to Zabreško Plateau, reaching an elevation of around 1,225 meters above sea level. The journey is expected to last about four hours, with the meeting point at 7 am before the AMD Cerklje. In case of poor weather conditions, the trip will be rescheduled for Thursday of the same week. Also planned for Monday, August 31st, is a special visit to the agricultural farm Ipavec in Vitovljah, hosted by the Kranj Retired Workers' Association. A dedicated bus service will transport participants from the Mercator building in Primskovo at 7:30 am. Registration for this event is open until Wednesday, August 26th, through the association’s office. Looking ahead, the 26th Festival of Boiled Potatoes is set for Saturday, September 5th, in Lipovce, Prekmurje. Visitors will have the chance to explore the open-air Lončarski Museum in Filovci and the Plečnik Church in Bogojina before the festival begins. A variety of cultural and social events continues to shape the calendar, including the 97th Traditional Zegnanjska Maša in Krvavec on Sunday, August 16th. This event features a traditional ceremony of seed planting, beginning with a religious service at the Plečnik Chapel of the Virgin Mary Snowdrop. Access to the site is via a mountain road leading to parking areas near the lake or the village of Gospic. The Red Cross Local Organization in Preddvor invites participants to a blood donation drive combined with a picnic and outing on Friday, August 21st. A special bus departs from the Preddvor municipal station at 6:00 am towards Ljubljana for the transfusion center. After the donation process, guests will enjoy a pleasant gathering and a leisurely walk along the coast. On Saturday, August 15th, the Cultural-Tourist Society of Kamna Gorica hosts a traditional singing event at the Markovi Chapel in Kamna Gorica, featuring songs dedicated to the Virgin Mary at 7:15 pm. Finally, the Farno Cultural Society of Koroška Bela presents the central traditional memorial event “V Mozaiku Spomina” on Friday, August 14th, at 8:30 pm in the venue adjacent to the church of Saint Ingenuin and Saint Albion.
