The rabbi's sons searched a store.

Three young children, aged 11, 9, and 13, who are the sons of a rabbi from Milan’s Jewish community, were stopped and searched extensively by a security guard at an 'Action' store on Via Lorenteggio. The children had entered the store looking for something to buy but left empty-handed. Upon exiting, they were subjected to an overly intrusive search, which left them feeling humiliated. The next evening, the eldest son, a 27-year-old married father with a pregnant wife and a two-year-old child in a stroller, was also stopped and aggressively searched by the same guard, who reportedly threatened him with further humiliation. The incident led to the young man recording the encounter, after which he filed a formal complaint against the guard and the store manager for racial intimidation, harassment, and attempted kidnapping. The president of the Milan Jewish Community, Walker Meghnagi, condemned the event as intolerable abuse, expressing concern over the changing climate in Milan, where Jewish families now feel unsafe entering stores.
