Google presents the Pixel 11: these are the news of the new smartphones with AI, renewed cameras and Tensor G6

Google unveiled its latest generation of smartphones, the Pixel 11 series, during its Made by Google event. The new devices feature advanced artificial intelligence capabilities powered by Gemini Intelligence, redesigned camera systems, and the Tensor G6 chip. The Pixel 11 lineup includes standard models, Pro variants, and a foldable version known as the Pixel 11 Pro Fold. All models run on Android 17 and incorporate the Tensor G6 processor, which enhances performance and AI integration. The Pixel 11 series introduces several key features aimed at improving user efficiency and convenience. Gemini Intelligence plays a central role, offering functionalities such as understanding user instructions more naturally, generating interactive cards with relevant information, and automatically finding available time slots in calendars, even within chat conversations. Users can make reservations with a single touch, save passes directly into their digital wallet, and use Rodea to search directly through the camera lens. Additional features include improved voice-to-text transcription, writing assistance, and support for individuals with hearing impairments using the device’s camera to facilitate communication via sign language. The standard Pixel 11 models come in four colors, glacial, pistachio, fuchsia, and obsidian, and retain the design language of previous generations while featuring a 6.3-inch display. These models offer 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. Their batteries can charge up to 55% in 30 minutes and support wireless charging at up to 25 W using the Qi2.2 protocol, which is 25% faster than previous versions. The main camera has been upgraded to a 48-megapixel sensor capable of capturing 56% more light compared to earlier models. The Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL models are available in sandstone, olive green, misty gray, and matte obsidian. The primary distinction between these two models lies in their screen sizes, the Pixel 11 Pro offers a 6.3-inch display, while the Pixel 11 Pro XL features a larger 6.8-inch panel. One of the standout features of the Pro models is HiLight, a set of integrated LED lights around the camera flash. This system allows users to customize notification colors for favorite contacts and illuminate when Gemini is interacting with them. In terms of photography, both models introduce a 50-megapixel main camera with optical zoom of two times and a 1/1.3-inch sensor. The front-facing camera boasts 42 megapixels and incorporates Night Vision, which now operates 4.5 times faster. Both models provide over 30 hours of battery life and can reach 75% charge in 30 minutes, supporting wireless charging at 25 W via Qi2.2, which is 29% faster than before. The Pixel 11 Pro Fold marks another advancement in foldable technology. Available in olive green and matte obsidian, this model is lighter and thinner than its predecessor, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, weighing 10 grams less and being one millimeter thinner. It comes equipped with 16 GB of RAM and offers up to 24 hours of battery life. Its battery can charge to 50% in 30 minutes and supports wireless charging at up to 25 W using Qi2.2. In the photography department, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold features a 48-megapixel main camera, a 10-megapixel internal camera, a 10.8-megapixel telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom, and a Super Zoom capability reaching up to 30x magnification, along with an ultra-wide-angle lens. The introduction of the Pixel 11 series highlights Google's continued investment in integrating AI into everyday smartphone functions.
