The 29th edition of Chile’s Semana de la Chilenidad returns this September with a vibrant celebration of national culture, featuring music, food, comedy, and traditional activities. The event will take place at the Parque Padre Hurtado in La Reina from September 12 to 13, followed by additional days from the 16th to the 20th. Spanning seven days across a 500,000-square-meter space, the festival promises more than 150 themed stalls and a diverse lineup of entertainment designed for families. Among the highlights of the event will be performances by popular artists such as Entremares, Los Frutantes, and Stefan Kramer, who will entertain audiences with their comedic and musical talents. The venue will also feature spaces dedicated to traditional Chilean customs, including folk dances like cueca, games, and food stalls offering regional specialties. Visitors can enjoy a variety of activities tailored for children, including play areas and festive displays, while others can explore horse exhibitions, artisan crafts, and other cultural attractions. Ticket sales for the Semana de la Chilenidad 2026 have already begun through the Ticketplus platform, both online and via mobile application. During the first pre-sale period, which ran until July 31, entry prices were set at $10,952 for adults, $5,476 for seniors over 60 years old, and $5,476 for children aged six to 14. Those planning to attend multiple days can opt for special multi-day packages starting at $27,380 for three separate sessions. Claudia Henríquez, the commercial manager at Ticketplus, emphasized the inclusive nature of the event, stating that it aims to provide a joyful experience for all visitors. She described the atmosphere as one filled with the spirit of the 19th century, encouraging attendees to engage fully with Chile’s traditions and take home lasting memories. The festival will offer a wide range of experiences, ensuring there is something for everyone. From the lively sounds of live performances to the rich flavors of local cuisine, the Semana de la Chilenidad continues to serve as a key platform for showcasing Chile’s cultural heritage. With its blend of entertainment, education, and community engagement, the event remains a cornerstone of Chile’s annual celebrations.
