Two rounds for the king! The British monarch took advantage of a visit to the Duke of Dorset to ride on a tank
British King Charles III visited the Dorset Regiment in a military tank, wearing protective gear and driving the Challenger 2 tank twice at the Bovington Tank Museum. The event took place amid tensions between the royal family and Prince Harry, who had recently faced difficulties securing accommodation during his visit to the UK. During the visit, Charles also drove a historic armored Rolls-Royce car from 1920, which had previously transported Queen Elizabeth II. He met with retired officers of the Royal Tank Regiment and toured exhibits showcasing the history of tanks from World War I to modern models, including the future main battle tank Challenger 3. The king was described as amused by the slow speed of the vintage vehicle.
