Serbian taxi driver in Budva jailed for 16 days for refusing to take a drug test
A 50-year-old Serbian man from Belgrade was sentenced to 16 days in prison after refusing to take a drug test during a police traffic stop in Budva. The incident occurred around 11:40 PM on Sunday on the Adriatic Highway. According to a statement from the Budva Traffic Court, the man refused to undergo testing for psychoactive substances in his body, as requested by the police officers. The court imposed the penalty as part of efforts to prevent and strictly sanction socially dangerous behavior on the road. Additionally, he received a protective measure prohibiting him from operating vehicles in Montenegro for four months, which will take effect after serving his prison sentence.
