From August 10th to September 25th, a public consultation period is underway for the proposal of the State Spatial Plan for upgrading the railway line between Ljubljana-Kranj-Naklo. The local community of Naklo is actively involved, aiming to restore passenger rail service and modern transportation connections to improve mobility and contribute to sustainable development. Primož Povše, acting mayor of Naklo, stated that constructive discussions have been held with representatives of the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change, and Energy, as well as other relevant institutions regarding the railway infrastructure upgrade.
