Five men are in custody in Florida for kidnapping a family on a fake mechanical order.

Five individuals, including three minors, were arrested for allegedly kidnapping a married couple and their two children after luring one of the victims with a fake request for vehicle repair services. The incident occurred in the commune of Maipú on Friday afternoon, where the mechanic was contacted through a social media page used by the victim to offer their services. Upon arriving at the location with their family, they were approached and intimidated by five suspects who demanded information about their home address. The goal, according to police, was to move to the residence to steal money and other items. The suspects forced the victims to accompany them to the house located in La Florida. However, during the journey, one of the detained individuals managed to alert a neighbor, who quickly contacted the Los Quillayes Substation. Police arrived at the residence and waited for the vehicles to arrive before intervening and arresting the five suspects, who attempted to flee but were caught. All four victims were found alive. During the operation, police seized two weapons, including a firearm and an airsoft gun, along with 27 cartridges. Two of the adults arrested are 36 and 19,
