I think some of you can relate. Either way, I’ve never lost the ability to see that red is really red, no matter what they told me it was.” She concluded simply: “So I didn’t believe them when they said I would die.” Recovery and new album Although Love did not specify the exact illness, she confirmed that she managed to recover somehow. “I am healthy, which is incredible,” she stated. She asked fans to be patient regarding the release of her new music. “I’m just figuring out how to place everything. Right now, everything is great,” she said, adding, “I’ll come back. I haven’t publicly talked about my illness, nor do I want to. I’m doing well now.” In the description of the video, Love provided more insights into her upcoming album. She wrote, “While creating it, I believed it would be my last album, so I recorded exactly what I always wanted. Most of the time, I was in the hospital, and when I wasn’t, I was writing and recording. Thank you for giving me space to prepare for my return to the world.” Her last album as a member of Hole was “Nobody’s Daughter,” released in 2010. While technically credited to the band, it was largely created by Love alone. In March 2025, she announced that she had permanently relocated to England to avoid another presidential term under Donald Trump.
