Prices fell in June, but bills are still higher than last year
In June 2026, compared to May 2026, there was a decrease in living costs in two categories: Transport (-1.6%) and Food and Non-Alcoholic Beverages (-1.1%). However, increases were recorded in several other categories including Recreation, Sports, and Culture (+1.4%), Personal Care, Social Protection, and Miscellaneous Goods and Services (+0.5%), Housing, Utilities, and Regular Maintenance of Households and Restaurants and Accommodation Services (+0.3%), Health Protection and Information and Communication (+0.2%), and Clothing and Footwear (+0.1%). Costs remained unchanged in Alcohol, Tobacco, and Narcotics, Energy, Water, Electricity, Gas, and Other Fuels, Education Services, and Insurance and Financial Services.
