The community had hoped that this year’s bishopelect, Stanislav Duh, a local Salesian lay brother, would attend. However, his health prevented him from being present. Despite this, the celebration was still connected to him spiritually. The local Salesian, Jožef Pozderec, offered Mass during the ceremony, alongside the parish priest Boris Kucka and another local Jesuit, Father Janez Srake. Pozderec described the spiritual journey of Stanislav Duh, who had previously been a professor, educator of young Salesians, lecturer, translator, and popular missionary.
