Depreciation and amortization costs also declined by 6.8%, decreasing from 339 million to 316 million pesos. Security and surveillance spending dropped by 7.1%, going from 168 million to 156 million pesos. Salaries increased slightly, rising by 3.1% to 608 million pesos from 590 million. Other administrative and promotional expenses grew by 15.7%, increasing from 153 million to 177 million pesos. Commission and fee net revenues totaled 2,146 million pesos, down 4.6% from 2,250 million pesos in the second quarter of 2025. Interest income stood at 2,223 million pesos, a reduction of 14.6%, while interest expenses fell sharply by 32.4%, declining from 1,271 million to 859 million pesos. The bank has maintained its long-term and short-term credit ratings with Fitch Ratings, which placed them at “AAA(mex)” and “F1+(mex)” with a stable outlook. This rating underscores the institution’s strategic role as the sole channel for distributing funds under Mexico’s Programs for Wellbeing. The bank emphasized its commitment to advancing financial inclusion and banking services among vulnerable populations.
