PTBus in Agualva-Cacém derails, kills two people and leaves several injured
Um autocarro da Carris Metropolitana despistou-se na manhã de segunda-feira, 7 de julho, perto da estação ferroviária de Agualva-Cacém, na área metropolitana de Lisboa, resultando na morte de duas mulheres com idades entre 30 e 40 anos e na ferimentos de 16 pessoas. O acidente ocorreu numa zona movimentada e foi classificado como 'atropelamento rodoviário'. O local foi isolado pela PSP e o presidente da Câmara Municipal de Sintra visitou o local para acompanhar as operações de socorro. As vítimas incluíram pessoas no passeio e dentro do autocarro. O condutor também foi ferido e recebe apoio psicológico. A estação estava sem ventilação, situação criticada pelo presidente da Câmara, mas foi reparada e agora funciona novamente com climatização.
