14 of 27 top IB scorers from English Schools Foundation plan to study medicine

Fourteen out of 27 top International Baccalaureate (IB) scorers from Hong Kong’s English Schools Foundation (ESF) plan to study medicine, with 13 of them based in Hong Kong. The students shared their study strategies and expressed relief and excitement after receiving their results. This year saw nearly double the number of perfect scorers compared to last year, with 73 students achieving a full score of 45 points. Among the top performers, three will pursue mechanical engineering, and two are considering business and global management.
