Ownership & classification
Founded: 1998
Ownership
Slo-Tech is Slovenia's largest technology web community and portal. It was started by an early user known as 'Luni' in late 1997/1998 and taken over and rebuilt around 2000 by Primoz Bratanic, who has run it since. The site and its personal-data collections are operated by the company iLOL d.o.o. (Tivolska 50, Ljubljana), associated with Bratanic; it is an independent, community-driven project rather than part of any larger media group.
Funding
Funded by online advertising plus the operator's own resources; the domain was originally bought by pooling money among early members and hardware vendors later partnered for product reviews. No party, state or licence-fee funding.
Affiliation & stance
A purely technology- and computing-focused outlet (news, articles and a large user forum) with no political content, party affiliation or state ties. Privately owned by its operator (iLOL d.o.o.) and commercially/ad-funded, it is clearly INDEPENDENT; it has no political lean (UNKNOWN/none).
