The group traces back to the magazine Koha, founded by journalist and politician Veton Surroi in 1990, and was formally established as a company in 2000. In November 2006 Veton Surroi transferred his 100% shareholding to his sister Flaka Surroi, who has since been the sole owner and publisher; she launched the Koha.net portal in 2009.
Funding
The Koha group is financed commercially through advertising, print sales and subscriptions across its newspaper, TV and online operations.
Affiliation & stance
Koha is privately owned by the Surroi family with no party or state stake, which is why it is classified INDEPENDENT. It is widely regarded as one of Kosovo's most credible, professionally edited outlets; although founder Veton Surroi was a politician (ORA party), ownership and editorial control rest with Flaka Surroi as a private commercial publisher.

MINTI extends for another 30 days the measure to restrict the prices of derivatives
The Ministry of Industry, Business, Trade and Innovation (MINTI) has decided to extend the temporary price control measures for oil derivatives by another 30 days, aiming to protect consumers and ensure fair pricing in the market. The decision follows ongoing monitoring of the market and analysis of data from Kosovo’s Customs Agency, which indicates that import prices for oil derivatives have not decreased. It was also noted that price movements in international markets primarily affect the local market when prices rise, while decreases are either delayed or incomplete. Under the new measure, the maximum selling price for most products will be calculated based on the average supply price reported by the Customs Agency, plus 2 eurocents per liter, while the maximum price for some products will be set at 12 eurocents above the supply price. MINTI has called on all entities trading in petroleum products to respect these price caps and ensure regular market supply. The implementation will be monitored by the Central Market Supervision Inspectorate, in collaboration with the Kosovo Customs Agency and the Kosovo Tax Administration. The ministry states that the measure aims to shield消费者 (

Madonna seems to be referring to ex-husband Sean Penn in the new album
Madonna, 67-year-old singer, has sparked reactions with her new album 'Confessions II', as fans believe one song refers to her former husband, actor Sean Penn. In the track 'Bizarre', she mentions a 'cinematic star with deep dark eyes', which many associate with Penn, whom she married from 1985 to 1989. She also references a 'Shelby Cobra' car, which fans connect to a gift she once gave Penn during their marriage. The lyrics suggest that the man in question felt threatened by her fame and did not want to be seen with her in public. While Madonna does not mention Penn by name and has not confirmed the reference, she has previously spoken openly about her relationship with him. Currently, Madonna is in a relationship with Jamaican footballer Akeem Morris, while Penn is reportedly dating model Valeria Nicov since 2024. The album also includes the song 'Betrayal', believed to be dedicated to her late daughter Joan.

Spain can't win the World Cup just because of Lamine Yamal.
Former Spain international Cesar Azpilicueta believes Spain has the potential to win the 2026 World Cup but warns that success cannot rely solely on the exceptional talent of Lamine Yamal. Following their victory at the European Championship 2024, Spain aims to reclaim footballing supremacy. The team, managed by Luis de la Fuente, has made a strong impression in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, with Yamal emerging as one of the standout names. At just 18 years old, Yamal scored his first goal in a World Cup match during Spain’s 4-0 win over Saudi Arabia in the group stage, showcasing his extraordinary talent despite recovering from an injury that kept him out of Barcelona’s final games of the season. However, Azpilicueta emphasizes that Spain needs contributions from the entire squad if they hope to become world champions. He notes that while Yamal is often highlighted as the key figure, a World Cup victory requires a fully prepared and complete team. Azpilicueta recalls that during Euro 2024, De la Fuente utilized all players across seven matches, highlighting that every player will play a crucial role this time as well. Spain will begin their World Cup qualifying campaign against A

Më shumë se një verdikt për katër ish-krerët e UÇK-së
The article discusses the upcoming judicial ruling by the Special Courts in The Hague regarding four former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army (UÇK): Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Jakup Krasniqi, and Rexhep Selimi. These individuals are accused of war crimes and crimes against humanity committed during and immediately after the Kosovo War in 1998–1999. The court initially had until May 19 to issue a verdict but extended the deadline to August 2026 due to the complexity of the case. The Special Courts indicated that further delays might occur if deemed necessary. All four defendants have been in custody since November 2020, facing charges of being part of a 'criminal enterprise' aimed at gaining control through intimidation, mistreatment, and expulsion. Victims included Serbs, Roma, and Albanians who did not support the UÇK. Prosecutors requested 45 years of imprisonment for each defendant based on their leadership roles. Thaçi has rejected the accusations, calling them entirely false and absurd, and criticized the prosecutors for attempting to discredit high-ranking officials from NATO, the United States, Britain, and the OSCE who were present during the conflict.
