Kathimerini ist eine griechische Tageszeitung, die 1919 vom anti-Venizelisten-Journalisten Georgios Vlachos gegründet wurde und später von seiner Tochter Helen Vlachos geleitet wurde. Seit 1988 gehört sie der Schifffahrtsfamilie Alafouzos; nach dem Tod von Aristides Alafouzos im Jahr 2017 ging sie an seine Söhne über und ist Teil der Skai-Gruppe der Familie (Skai TV, Radio und Digital), die hauptsächlich von Giannis Alafouzos kontrolliert wird.
