Zadar faces several "debtors," but if they finally deliver, victory in Vienna will not be in question. In theory, the fourth round, but in practice the third round of the ABA League sees Zadar's basketball team take on Vienna in a guest match. The game is scheduled for Friday at 20:30 local time. Following an unexpected loss in Belgrade against Mega, Zadar quickly found a remedy in Zagreb, where they managed a comfortable win against Virtus. Now comes the return to regional league obligations, with Vienna being the next opponent. The match in Austria will be of exceptional importance for Zadar to have one more victory under their belt before facing a series of tough matches. After Vienna, the team will face Ilirija, Dubai, Spartak, Partizan, Cluj, and possibly a postponed match against Bosnia. Indeed, the loss to Mega was unfortunate because, in an ideal scenario, Zadar needed to win that match, and with a potential victory in Vienna, the season would start with three wins on the regional level, allowing Stipe Modrić’s team to approach the upcoming challenges with full confidence. "We are looking forward to a difficult away game against a completely changed team. Compared to last season, nobody remained except young Stazić. They have 11 new players, 10 of whom are foreign, and a new coach. We can play against anyone, but if we aren't right, we could lose to anyone. I think we have our chances. We had two days to prepare well so we don’t repeat mistakes from Belgrade. With a good approach and, hopefully, a good shooting day, I think we have a good chance to return home with points," said Zadar's coach. Vienna has yet to taste victory in the opening two rounds and hope this changes after the match against Zadar. Compared to last year, the Austrian team underwent major changes, with only one player remaining. Among the newcomers, the most familiar face to Zadar fans is long-time Cibona captain Krešimir Radovčić. "They have many experienced and quality players, an experienced coach. I think they are a good team. We know how we should play, we will try to fix things we messed up against Mega and hope for a good result," said Dario Drežnjak, who was somewhat reserved at the start of the season. However, Zadar's "yellow" team is not the only debtor in their ranks.
