Radovljica, The 52nd annual hike to Stol, organized by the Recreational Club of Eternal Young Men, will take place on Sunday, August 29, 2026. The event, which has become a cherished tradition, will follow its established schedule with participants gathering at the familiar location, the parking lot in front of the Ambient café in Radovljica, starting at 6 a.m. At the meeting point, attendees will receive a token, a tea voucher in the Stol cottage, a food and drink voucher in the valley, and a miniature symbol representing the hike. From Radovljica, participants will travel by personal vehicles to Valvasorjevo Dom, where a group photo will be taken. The hike up to Stol will proceed along the usual route, followed by a return journey down the Mulatja path. A club banner bearer will lead the procession, carrying the club’s flag. This year’s symbolic item, which hikers will carry to Stol, is a potato press. In the afternoon, from 4:30 to 5 p.m., a parade of wind instrument orchestras, participants of the hike, and members of the club will pass through Grajski Park to Lihart Square in Radovljica, where they will gather at 5 p.m. Wind orchestra performances will follow, featuring guests from the Pihalni Orkestar Lesce.
