Sentosa GrillFest 2026 returned to Siloso Beach for its ninth edition, running from 23 July to 16 August 2026. The event, which is supported by the Singapore Tourism Board, featured its largest lineup yet, with 42 food vendors spread across five distinct zones. Among the highlights was the introduction of Chef’s Grill, an air-conditioned, omakase-inspired eight-course dining experience co-curated with the Singapore Chefs’ Association. This marked the first time such a concept was brought to the beachfront setting, offering diners a unique opportunity to witness live-fire cooking techniques performed by Singapore’s top chefs. The festival saw the return of several longtime favorites, including Craft’ B, Slurp Your Oysters, Jett BBQ, and DAMN. These vendors, known for their signature dishes and loyal following, were joined by 18 new participants, expanding the variety of cuisines available. The event was divided into five zones, each with its own theme and ambiance. Marketplace by Indoguna, a collaboration with a leading food importer, emphasized local sourcing and sustainability, featuring a central chiller display where guests could select fresh ingredients before watching them prepared at themed stalls. The zone also included a retail section selling artisanal products and ready-to-cook items, allowing attendees to bring a piece of the festival home. Sunset Lounge by Asahi offered a dedicated space for evening gatherings, with a focus on golden hour experiences. Positioned as a transition between daytime and nighttime activities, the lounge featured DJ programming and live music, creating a relaxed atmosphere for guests to unwind. The venue also served as a hub for socializing, with its scenic views over the ocean enhancing the overall experience. Chef’s Grill, the highlight of the festival, operated in an air-conditioned tent equipped with premium chinaware. The experience allowed diners to observe live-fire cooking techniques from a curated list of Singapore chefs, ensuring both visual appeal and culinary excellence. The three mainstay vendors, Sentosa Golf Club, R&B Grill Bar, and ASAP & CO, provided consistent quality throughout the four weekends, while a weekly guest vendor slot introduced new flavors and kept the menu dynamic. The initiative also served as the closing platform for the inaugural Singapore Chef Festival, further solidifying Sentosa GrillFest’s place in Singapore’s culinary landscape. The event incorporated eco-friendly measures, notably the first-ever use of solar energy to power the Chef’s Grill pavilion and beachfront lighting. This commitment to sustainability aligned with broader efforts to reduce environmental impact during large-scale public events. The increased sheltered capacity and improved beachfront seating options made the festival more accessible and comfortable for attendees, especially during peak hours.
