Satellite imagery has confirmed the destruction of a Russian Tu-95 strategic bomber at the Engels-2 Air Base in the Saratov region, according to independent analysts and reports from Ukrainian officials. The incident occurred during a nighttime drone attack carried out by the Ukrainian Security Service (SBU). This marks the first visual confirmation of such an attack’s success, with the wreckage clearly visible on satellite photos released by the open-source intelligence group AviVector.
