Ta izdelek zagotavlja prožnost pri gradnji, zaščiti in prenosu bogastva prihodnjim generacijam prek prilagodljivih premijskih dodelitev v različnih indeksih, vključno z indeksom zlata in lastniškega kapitala.

Prudential Singapore has introduced PRUApex Legacy Index II, an indexed universal life plan (IUL) tailored for affluent and high-net-worth individuals seeking greater flexibility in managing and transferring their wealth. The product was launched on 20 July 2026 and aims to address growing demand for legacy planning solutions that allow clients to adapt their strategies as their financial goals and personal circumstances evolve. The IUL enables customers to customize their premium allocations across multiple indices, including a gold-equity index, and offers flexible payout options and premium terms. An additional crediting rate of 0.25% per annum is applied to indices with uncapped returns, while a one-time bonus crediting rate of up to 6.50% is available on the total account value after the end of the premium term for fully paid policies under a multipay premium payment structure. The product provides customers with the ability to diversify their investments across global markets and asset classes, including the United States, Europe, and emerging economies such as China, South Korea, and Brazil. Policyholders can select from indices with both capped and uncapped returns, enabling them to tailor their investment approach according to their risk tolerance and long-term objectives. Indices with uncapped returns, designed to offer potentially higher growth opportunities while maintaining controlled volatility, are among the options available, alongside traditional market indices like the S&P 500, MSCI Emerging Markets, and EURO STOXX 50. Volatility-controlled indices such as the S&P 500 FC, UBS MASTR, Barclays Shiller Allocator, and MSCI World Golden Compass are also included, providing a balanced approach to wealth preservation and growth. Ms Toni Fung, Chief Customer and Marketing Officer at Prudential Singapore, emphasized that the introduction of PRUApex Legacy Index II reflects the evolving needs of high-net-worth individuals who seek greater control over how their legacy is structured and transferred. She noted that previous products required customers to purchase new policies or restructure existing portfolios when adjustments were needed, which could complicate estate planning. With the new IUL, clients can modify their strategies without the need for major portfolio overhauls, ensuring their legacy planning remains aligned with their current priorities. The product also supports future-proofing by incorporating flexible death benefit payout structures, allowing beneficiaries to receive payments either as a single lump sum or in installments spread over two to ten years. The IUL includes both single-premium and multipay options, with the latter allowing customers to commit to paying premiums over a period of up to 20 years. This flexibility caters to varying liquidity needs and legacy planning preferences, enabling clients to align their premium commitments with their financial timelines. For those opting for the Fixed Account option, specific terms and conditions apply, though further details remain pending completion of the relevant documentation. Prudential Singapore’s initiative marks a continuation of its efforts to expand the range of index-based investment options available to its clientele. Two years prior, the company had become the first insurer in Singapore to introduce a volatility-controlled index within an indexed universal life plan, setting a precedent for innovation in the insurance sector. With PRUApex Legacy Index II, the firm aims to reinforce its position as a leader in delivering customized, flexible, and forward-looking legacy planning solutions.
