Potrošnja električne energije v Hrvaški se je znatno povečala, vendar se ne pričakuje nobenih težav z oskrbo

Po podatkih hrvaškega operaterja prenosnega sistema (HOPS) se je poraba električne energije v Hrvaški v primerjavi z enakim obdobjem v prejšnjih letih bistveno povečala. Kljub temu povečanju se zaradi visoke razpoložljivosti prenosnega omrežja ne pričakujejo težav z oskrbo. Današnja povpraševanje po električni energiji naj bi dosegla 61.825 megawatt-ur (MWh), kar presega tedenski maksimum, ki je bil zabeležen prejšnji teden. Najvišja poraba na uro je bila opažena ob 20. uri v petek, 31. julija 2026, pri 3.185 MWh, današnja napoved pa je dosegla 3.284 MWh ob istem času, kar je rast 3,1% v primerjavi s prejšnjim tednom. Vendar pa to še ni enako rekordu, ki je bil postavljen 29. junija, ki je dosegel 3.371 MWh ob 8 PM. Povečana poraba je posledica višjih temperatur in uporabe prezračevanja. Poleg tega nizka vodna gladina v večjih evropskih rekah, kot sta Rina in Dunaj, vpliva na nekatere jedrske hidroelektrarne in povečuje pritisk na evropske energetske sisteme.

HOPS has stated that the available transmission capacity remains at a normal level, ensuring that the supply of electricity can meet the rising demand. The operator noted that while daily consumption has climbed, the system is capable of handling the load without disruption. For Tuesday, August 4, 2026, HOPS expects another peak in hourly consumption at 20:00, projected at 2,971 MWh. The increased demand has been consistent with seasonal patterns, although the rate of growth appears more pronounced than usual. The summer months typically see higher energy consumption due to elevated temperatures and increased reliance on cooling devices. However, the combination of heatwaves and reduced river levels has created an unusual situation that has affected energy generation capabilities across parts of Europe. Croatian energy providers continue to rely on both domestic power plants and imported electricity to meet national needs. While local sources contribute a portion of the required output, imports play a crucial role in maintaining stability during periods of heightened demand. HOPS has emphasized that all necessary measures are being taken to ensure uninterrupted service and maintain grid reliability.
