Nám í dýralækningum í fyrsta sinn í boði hérlendis

For the first time, students in Iceland will be able to study veterinary medicine locally this autumn. The Agricultural University of Iceland has partnered with the Faculty of Life Sciences at Warsaw University in Poland to offer a program focused on animal health. Students will spend two years at the Icelandic university before moving to Poland for their third year of specialized veterinary training. The program aims to create a strong local workforce for Icelandic agriculture while reducing the need for students to travel abroad immediately after starting their education. The university expects around 30 to 40 applicants, which is more than initially anticipated.
