The discovery brought tears of joy to the winner, who received the news over the phone from Toscano. Despite the emotional impact, the process was not without cost. Toscano explained that the state-owned company had incurred substantial expenses during the search. To ensure accountability, he had previously written to the winner, informing her that she would need to cover these costs. Fortunately, the woman agreed to take responsibility, making the operation financially viable. The case highlights the unexpected role of waste management services in recovering valuable items.
