The footage was recorded by a young local man who was walking through the area when he encountered the fly-tippers. The video shows the men quickly unloading their goods before driving away. As they departed, the witness shouted, indicating he intended to contact the police and noted the license plate of the van. In response, the men reportedly turned back and attempted to chase the witness, who fled toward a nearby farm. A farmer who arrived shortly afterward described finding the witness in a state of extreme distress, visibly shaken by the encounter. The witness, described as someone who tends to avoid confrontations, had not previously faced such a situation. The farmer, who wished to remain anonymous, stated that the individual had been significantly affected by the incident. He mentioned that the area has long struggled with issues related to illegal dumping, with more than 40 incidents reported in the past year alone. The same group of individuals responsible for this recent act of fly-tipping have been identified as repeat offenders, having been spotted earlier this year disposing of similar waste in the early hours of the morning. According to the farmer, efforts to address the issue have been ongoing, though challenges persist due to the lack of proper licensing and insurance on the vehicles used by these individuals. He noted that despite having access to surveillance equipment, identifying these offenders has proven difficult because their vehicle was not registered, taxed, or insured.
