A 46-year-old man from Byford has been charged with murder following the alleged stabbing death of a 44-year-old father in Rockingham on Friday evening. Lee’s daughter has launched a GoFundMe campaign to raise funds for funeral expenses, expressing deep sorrow over her father’s sudden and tragic passing. She described the loss as something no family should endure and paid tribute to her father, stating he would always be loved and remembered. In a separate incident, police are investigating a stabbing at the Joondalup shopping centre in Perth’s north. The attack occurred shortly after 4pm on Saturday in the upper food court area. A man in his 20s was allegedly stabbed and received treatment for serious injuries at Royal Perth Hospital via St John WA. Footage of the incident was shared online, showing the victim being transported by paramedics. While authorities believe the individuals involved knew each other, no charges have been laid at this time. A police spokesperson noted the incident appears to be isolated and emphasized there is no current threat to public safety, though officers will remain visible in the area as investigations continue.
