After 15 years of continuous and satisfactory service, workers will be eligible for a one-time loyalty incentive of at least P10,000. Cities and municipalities may provide additional subsistence allowances to those serving in underserved areas. Legarda stressed that these measures represent an important step toward ensuring fair treatment for barangay health workers, acknowledging that while the benefits may not fully compensate for their service, they offer much-needed recognition and support.
