Koprodukcja Boskiej Komedii na otwarcie 80. Festival d'Avignon

The 80th edition of the Avignon Theater Festival will feature the premiere of 'Uma Luz Cordial,' the final part of Brazilian director Carolina Bianchi's trilogy 'Trilogia Cadela Força.' The play explores themes of writing, sexuality, imagination, and memory, drawing inspiration from works by Brazilian author Hilda Hilst and American poet Emily Dickinson. This production is a co-production between the Polish festival 'Boska Komedia' (Divine Comedy) and several prestigious European institutions, including the Avignon Festival itself. The festival will also welcome South Korean playwright Jak Koo, winner of the 2026 Ibsen Award, who will present three plays, one of which is also a co-production with 'Boska Komedia.' The theme of this year's festival is 'Under the Flag of Questions.'
