She also mentioned that she intended to remain engaged with the White House and the Republican Party, indicating that her efforts against the Democratic Party would continue beyond her tenure as press secretary. The White House has not yet named a successor for Leavitt, who recently returned from maternity leave in mid-July. President Trump acknowledged the difficulty in choosing a replacement, noting the abundance of potential candidates.
