A remarkable fishing achievement has taken place on Lake Uvac, located near Sjenica, where father and son, Amel Bronja and his eighteen-year-old son Emil, successfully caught a massive catfish weighing 45 kilograms and measuring exactly two meters in length. This extraordinary catch occurred along a stretch of water between Sedlo and Orlovi, beneath a local landmark known as Orlova Stena, which is referred to by local fishermen as "Orlova Stone." The event took place during a regular fishing trip when the pair was targeting catfish.

According to Amel Bronja, the moment came unexpectedly when Emil's rod experienced a strong tug. Initially, they believed the fish might be a smaller specimen, perhaps around 10 to 15 kilograms. However, as the struggle continued, it became evident that this was no ordinary catch. The battle with the enormous fish lasted nearly an hour, during which time both Amel and Emil were fully engaged in trying to bring the creature to shore. A local angler also joined them, offering assistance and helping to pull the fish onto land together.

Amel Bronja, who has been fishing for over twenty years, expressed surprise at the size of the catfish. He noted that typically, catches on Lake Uvac have ranged between 18 to 20 kilograms, making this particular fish an exceptional outlier.
