Magyar revealed his proposal on Sunday via Facebook, stating he planned to meet with Polgar to ask if she was ready to serve the nation in this new capacity. He emphasized that it would be an honor if the five-time Olympiad champion accepted the invitation. Polgar, widely regarded as the greatest female chess player of all time, has been recommended by 16 prominent Hungarian figures in science, culture, and sports.
