Nathalie Fresco, a painter present at the funeral, called Catherine Ringer “a great lady” who accompanied her youth. She said Ringer symbolized a whole era of rock-pop music, open and innovative, representing freedom and maturity with considerable talent. The ceremony took place in the cemetery, close to the tomb where Fred Chichin has been resting for almost twenty years. After the service concluded, numerous onlookers gathered around Catherine Ringer’s tomb to lay flowers, extending the afternoon of tributes.
