The 2025 model, produced at BMW’s plant in Leipzig, Germany, is available in three trim levels—118 Advantage, 118 Sportline, and M135 xDrive, with the tested unit falling into the middle tier. It represents a significant evolution in design, engineering, and features while retaining the brand’s signature blend of sportiness and refinement. The new Series 1 retains its classic silhouette, featuring a long hood shaped like a wedge, flat windows, and a muscular rear section that gives it a dynamic appearance. This MY2025 variant introduces subtle yet noticeable changes in dimensions, growing slightly in length to 4.361 meters, up 42 millimeters from previous models, while maintaining the same width of 1.8 meters and height of 1.459 meters. The wheelbase remains unchanged at 2.67 meters, and the trunk capacity stays at 380 liters, expandable to 1,200 liters.
