Meta quietly launches vibe-coded gaming app Pocket

Meta has launched a new AI-powered gaming app called Pocket, which enables users to create and share small, interactive experiences using AI prompts. The app is based on the acquisition of the team behind the previous vibe-coded gaming platform Gizmo, which remains available on the Google Play Store. Pocket shares similarities with Gizmo, offering a discovery feed and allowing users to generate interactive content through written prompts. The app's launch was first noticed by reverse engineer Alessandro Paluzzi, who shared a screenshot on X, while app analytics firm Appfigures reports that Pocket was released on June 29, 2026. Meta has not commented on the release, and the app appears to be in an early experimental stage. Gizmo, the predecessor app, had 635,000 lifetime installs and received mostly positive feedback.
