5 luglio: 5 anni senza Raffaella Carrà

On July 5th, five years have passed since the death of Italian singer Raffaella Carrà. To commemorate her legacy, the foundation established in her honor, led by her adopted son Gian Luca Pelloni Bulzoni, produced a musical tribute featuring the choir 'Le Dolci Note,' which is supported by the foundation. The choir performed songs such as 'Pedro,' whose remix had over six billion views on TikTok, and 'Assulajé,' the theme song of the Rai program 'Amore,' which helped Carrà sponsor 150,000 children through distant adoption. The foundation focuses on promoting ethical values, solidarity, and education through music and other initiatives aimed at youth development. Several projects are currently underway, including programs focused on choral singing, emerging filmmakers, young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, and dance talents.

On July 5th, five years have passed since the passing of Raffaella Carrà, one of Italy's most beloved entertainers. To commemorate this anniversary, the foundation established in her honor has organized a musical tribute featuring the choir "Le Dolci Note," directed by Alessandro Bellomaria. This initiative was supported by the foundation, which was strongly advocated for by Gian Luca Pelloni Bulzoni, Raffaella Carrà’s adopted son and the founder and president of the foundation. The choir, based in Torpignattara—one of Rome's peripheral and challenging neighborhoods—has been a sponsored entity under the foundation's umbrella. Both the choir and the foundation share the goal of educating children and young people through music, promoting healthy values, fostering friendship, and helping them grow in a safe and welcoming environment.

The tribute featured the choir singing and dancing to the song "Pedro," whose remix has amassed over six billion views on TikTok. Another emotional highlight was the performance of "Assulajé," the theme song of the Rai program "Amore." Through this program, Raffaella Carrà facilitated the adoption of 150,000 children. These performances were chosen to reflect the ethical principles, moral values, and solidarity that guided both Raffaella Carrà's life and the foundation's activities.

Among the ongoing projects initiated by the foundation is "Vox Animae," aimed at nurturing youth through choral singing, emphasizing the importance of listening, collaboration, discipline, and sharing. Another project, "Primus Actus," supports emerging young filmmakers entering the world of cinema and audiovisual production. It seeks to provide access to professional environments and opportunities often difficult to reach, through collaborations with festivals, contests, and industry entities.

Additionally, the foundation has launched "Freedom," a program designed for young individuals growing up in areas with limited opportunities. This initiative aims to offer time, tools, experiences, and authentic relationships, combining art, education, personal growth, and career orientation to help participants recognize their talents, build self-confidence, and develop a clear vision for their future. There is also "Talentum," dedicated to recognizing young dance talents through scholarships and educational support programs. By engaging partners and institutions, this project aims to create a supportive system offering tangible opportunities to aspiring dancers, contributing to the formation of future generations of performers.

To further celebrate Raffaella Carrà's life and career, the foundation plans to sponsor a major exhibition titled "Raffaella Carrà. Coraggio, stile di vita e libertà" (Raffaella Carrà. Courage, Lifestyle, and Freedom) in the autumn. Organized by the Ministry of Culture and produced by Alessandro Nicosia through his company C.O.R., the exhibition will be curated by Barbara Giaquinto and Margherita Vasselli.

The foundation's board includes several notable figures, such as Gian Luca Pelloni Bulzoni, the adopted son of Raffaella Carrà and the foundation's founder and president. Also present are Matteo Pelloni, Raffaella's nephew; Barbara Giaquinto, the lawyer who handled Gian Luca's adoption; Margherita Vasselli, responsible for artistic projects within the foundation; Laura Fattore, a former press office staff member of Raffaella; Renato Tulino, a long-time friend and physician; Ilaria Lenci, who managed Raffaella's personal secretary for over sixteen years and now oversees the foundation's operations; Marco Ambrosini, the auditor; and Gianfranco Salustri, a tax advisor and longtime friend of Raffaella, currently serving as treasurer of the foundation.

These individuals collectively contribute to ensuring that Raffaella Carrà's legacy continues to inspire and uplift future generations through various cultural, educational, and social initiatives. Their efforts reflect the enduring impact of Raffaella Carrà's life and work, which continue to resonate deeply within Italian society. As the foundation moves forward, its focus remains on honoring Raffaella's memory while actively supporting the growth and development of young people across multiple domains.
