On the night of July 3rd, Russian forces attacked the village of Lozova in Kharkiv Oblast using a drone strike, injuring six civilians including three children. Among the victims were a 31-year-old man, his 27-year-old wife, their three daughters aged 10, 6, and 1 year old, and the woman’s 58-year-old mother. The 10-year-old girl suffered severe burns covering approximately 40% of her body and was hospitalized in critical condition. The drone struck a private residence, causing a fire that damaged a house and two cars. The residents were trapped underground due to an explosion wave, and rescuers had to free five people, including two children. The Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office has initiated a criminal investigation into the attack under Article 438(1) of Ukraine’s Criminal Code.
