The police have announced they discovered a large quantity of drugs in the apartment of a Dutch national in Tisno. The individual, a 25-year-old citizen of the Netherlands, was arrested on suspicion of unauthorized production and trade in narcotics. The investigation was conducted jointly by officers from the Drug Crime Department of the Šibeniko-Knin Police Station and the Police Directorate. The search took place yesterday, based on an order from the Šibenik City Court. During the operation, police found and seized 4,174 tablets of MDMA, a bag containing 372 grams of MDMA, 22 bags of powdered MDMA totaling 19.88 grams, and 47 bags of crystallized MDMA weighing 580.5 grams. Additionally, they discovered 36 bags of ketamine totaling 350.5 grams, 331 perforated sheets of LSD, two bags of marijuana weighing 234.5 grams, six digital scales, and a substantial amount of cash. The police also searched the vehicle used by the suspect. In the car, they found 13 bags of marijuana totaling 52 grams, eight bags of cocaine weighing 7.2 grams, 29 bags of ketamine totaling 49.3 grams, and 27 bags of crystallized MDMA weighing 54 grams. They also recovered 15 bags of MDMA totaling 25 grams and 150 tablets of MDMA, along with a considerable amount of money. Following the completion of the criminal investigation, the 25-year-old was handed over to the custody of the Šibeniko-Knin Police Station. A criminal complaint has been filed against him with the competent state prosecutor’s office in Šibenik. The discovery highlights the ongoing efforts of law enforcement to combat drug trafficking and related offenses. The scale of the seizure indicates a significant operation targeting illicit drug activities.
