Policija je uhapsila trojicu osumnjičenih za ubojstvo u Osunu.

Osun State police have arrested three individuals suspected of murdering Seun Ajayi in Ikire on October 3, 2026. The suspects, Nurudeen Ademakinwa, 30; Agboluaje Usman, 23; and Awoniran Toheeb, 20, were taken into custody following an intelligence-led operation on October 5. Authorities recovered an axe, two double-edged knives, and three mobile phones from the suspects. The incident reportedly took place at a barbing salon in the Oja-Ale area of Ikire. According to police, Ajayi and a friend were there for haircuts when a group of men attacked them with dangerous weapons. Ajayi was killed, while his companion fled and later reported the incident to police. Police stated that Ademakinwa, known locally as Igboya Aye-nuru, led the attack. He had previously sent threatening voice messages to residents of Wasimi, warning them to leave the area or face consequences. Ademakinwa is also linked to another incident on August 24, 2026, where he allegedly killed two pedestrians during an assault on police officers in the Ikire Division. Investigations into the case continue, and the suspects will be charged once the inquiry concludes. Ademakinwa's involvement in violent acts appears to extend beyond this case. In addition to the murder of Ajayi, he faces allegations related to attacks on law enforcement personnel earlier in the year. His history of threats and violence suggests a pattern of behavior that police are now addressing through legal action. Separately, police have also arrested Mukaila Adeyemo, 45, over allegations of defiling a minor in Ikire. Adeyemo is accused of assaulting the girl twice, including on her birthday on October 2, when he lured her to his workshop and then to a nearby bush. The victim is reportedly the granddaughter of a woman who is friends with Adeyemo.
