The event took place on July 2nd, with the couple, Maciej Mazurek and Ola Nowak, tying the knot after planning their wedding for nearly 18 months. Mazurek’s entrance, styled similarly to scenes from the James Bond film Skyfall, became a viral sensation on social media shortly after the ceremony. The idea originated from Mazurek's initial vision of arriving at the altar via helicopter, suspended by rope. However, he quickly realized this would cost approximately $300,000, prompting him to settle for a more feasible option. Instead of a helicopter descent, Mazurek opted for a zipline from a higher floor window directly to the altar. Three experts in ropes and acrobatics assisted in setting up the zipline, ensuring the stunt was both safe and visually impressive. Mazurek practiced the maneuver early in the morning, rehearsing the acrobatic move before the big day. According to Mazurek, the elaborate entrance was worth the expense due to the positive reactions from friends and family. “It was a very special moment for me,” he said. “I was so happy everything went well and I could arrive in style. Nobody knew it was going to happen, but my friends and family know I will always give my all, so they weren’t too surprised.” The couple met through Instagram in 2023 and got engaged in December 2024 in Italy. Their wedding plans had been in motion for almost two years, with Mazurek’s entrance being an accelerated version of his original concept. He emphasized that the zipline was one of the best moments of the day. “Waiting there before the jump was one of my favorite parts of the day,” he added. “I could see the beautiful Italian landscape and watch my friends and family laugh.
