The United States has been accused of bombing a wedding in Iran, according to video footage showing the aftermath of the strike near Kuhestak, in Hormozgan Province on the southern coast of the country, bordering the Persian Gulf. The roof of the building appears completely destroyed, with debris scattered over dozens of meters around the point of impact. Videos filmed at a hospital show several injured individuals, including numerous children, and one child's body covered with a blue cloth. The attack occurred during the night of September 1st to September 2nd, 2026. A local influencer named “Motahereh7,” who lives in the village and participated in the wedding, posted a short video on Instagram shortly after the strikes. She stated that the U.S. had indeed hit the house where the wedding was held, which belonged to the cousin of her husband. She expressed uncertainty about how many people were inside and how many might have been buried under the rubble. She emphasized that there was absolutely no military infrastructure nearby, noting that nothing was close to the house. A surveillance video allows counting at least six explosions. These videos capture attacks on the village of Kuhestak during the specified period. Another video shows the target, a telecommunications tower, being struck by American missiles and drones. The location of the tower has been geolocated by the editorial team of Observateurs, revealing that it lies within an urban area but at some distance from the village homes. The site of the wedding, identified through these images, is located more than 135 meters away from the tower. Several videos depicting the consequences of the attack indicate that the building where the wedding took place was directly hit, rather than damaged by shrapnel from an explosion targeting the tower. Clear imagery shows a direct impact on the roof of the affected house. Experts suggest that the debris observed in the videos could originate from a cruise missile such as the SLAM-ER, developed by Boeing and described as the most accurate weapon in the U.S. naval arsenal. However, it remains unclear whether the debris was captured at the site of the strike against the wedding house or at the location of the telecommunications tower. This incident marks the fourth time civilians have reportedly been harmed in such attacks. Iranian officials have responded strongly, with Bagher Ghalibaf, president of the Iranian Parliament and a key figure in negotiations with the United States, calling the U.S. government “Satan.” His remarks reflect growing tensions following the alleged civilian casualties.
