One notable team, Real Grímsey, has been participating in the tournament for two decades. Comprised of members who have attended every single match since its inception, the team has experienced a rich history of camaraderie and achievement. Their goalkeeper, Hannes Arnar Gunnarsson, emphasized the importance of preparation and teamwork, noting that despite their age, they remain committed to the sport. The team plans to celebrate their 20th anniversary with new gear and continued participation, reflecting their dedication to the community and the traditions they uphold.
